Dale said there's no significant snowfall in the forecast but there is a chance for some snow showers Tuesday evening. A clipper system late Friday into early Saturday could kick off snow showers across far north Alabama. Tuesday night should be mild and breezy as the rain will continue with the cold front crossing the region. Highs will reach the upper 40s. Man, they just don't build 'em like they used to. The rescue operation to find a missing Argentine submarine has now changed to a search mission, navy spokesman Enrique Balbi told reporters Thursday. Prior to the rescue mission being called off, hopes of survivors had already begun to fade after experts said the crew only had enough oxygen to last up to 10 days if the submarine remained intact under the sea.
