It is illegal to give a Hitler salute in Germany. NPR reports that the men were released after posting their bail of €500 (nearly $600) each. The Chinese citizens are now facing charges for " using symbols of illegal organizations " which could carry a fine or a prison sentence of up to three years, according to the police. (more...)

City of Tulsa emergency operations are helping with disaster response following a windstorm and possible tornado that sent 13 people to area hospitals, according to a statement. Jankowski said tornadoes are generally associated with spring months and said an August tornado is uncommon, but not "outrageously rare". No deaths have been reported. (more...)

When it comes to sticking around with the Pittsburgh Steelers for at least three more seasons, Mike Tomlin said that he is just humbled and respectful that the organization is allowing him to do what he loves to do. Images of the Fire Ball ride that malfunctioned in Columbus, Ohio . Rhonda Burgess said one of her sons was standing in line at a nearby ride when the incident took place. Amusements of America, the company that provides rides to the state fair, said its staff also had inspected the ride. Tyler Jerrell, 18, was pronounced dead on the scene after being thrown 50 feet. Game wardens are now investigating. All three scouts were wearing personal floatation devices at the time of the incident. Wardens then found an 18-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy in the water a short distance away from the boat. The accident is being investigated by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's statewide boating accident reconstruction and mapping team. Emanuel said on Sunday that Chicago won't "be blackmailed" into changing its values as a welcoming city, escalating a pushback against a federal immigration crackdown. Mayors like Mr Emanuel, however, have taken issue with the Trump administration's increased immigration enforcement activity.
