Police said the plane crashed in a field on Miry Brook Road around 10:30 a.m. near the city's dog park. A small plane crashed at the Lawrenceburg-Lawrence County Airport. They had rented the aircraft Sunday morning and were heading west, although authorities have not yet confirmed their exact destination.
