Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Season Four; Netflix Releases Final Season Teaser & Photos

Dear White People

It seems the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which stars Ellie Kemper, is coming to an end. The season will be split into two parts with the first six episodes streaming on Netflix on May 30.

Deadline is reporting that the popular Netflix series will be ending after the upcoming fourth season, which premieres on May 30th. Created by Fey and Robert Carlock, "Kimmy Schmidt" follows its titular character when she is rescued from a doomsday cult and endeavors to start her life over again in a modern-day New York City, despite having very little understanding of how much society has changed since she last saw it. I hear that the Internet network and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt producer Universal Television are in talks for a movie that would bring the praised series to an end.

If the plans for a TV movie series finale move through, it's possible that the wait for the second half of the season will end up being even longer.

When last we saw Kimmy Schmidt, she had failed out of/quit/gotten an honorary degree from Columbia University and was faced with the prospect of starting the next chapter in her life.

The series was the first original half-hour comedy show that the streaming site premiered, and it became and an immediate classic.

Creator Tina Fey also appeared several times in the show, once as a prosecutor and later as a therapist to Kimmy.

The other new images feature an assortment of goodies, like Titus (Tituss Burgess) holding a "Salvation Coast Guard" bag, Jacqueline (Krakowski) standing in front of an albino robot, and Lillian (Carol Kane) providing Kimmy some inimitable emotional support.
