Google offering free USB-C charger with Pixel 2 purchase

Google Pixel 2 users reportedly facing voice messaging problems

However, if you are looking for added incentive, Google is providing it right now in the form of a $200 statement credit when you take advantage of Google Store Financing.

Even though the Pixel 2 XL is nearly half a year old, it is still one of the best Android smartphones you can buy.

These days the flagship phones have become very expensive and OEMs can not really push the costs way too low without cutting the profit margins. Google is no longer that different, having entered the device-making and selling businesses. Once the transaction goes through, customers will be paying the full price of $35.38 per month for the 64 GB model and $39.54 per month for the 128 GB model in 24 months. Usually, the Google Pixel 2 will set you back around $849 for the standard 64GB model, and $949 for the 128GB. Google is said to be reducing the price of the phones cost to $649 and $749 respectively. It would also throw in a free 18 W USB-C adapter for additional happiness. That is a lot earlier than what the other promos offer that generally apply the credit to the per month billing over a period of two years. The promo also gives an 18 W USB-C power adapter for free and it is valid until the promo ends.

The promo runs March 18 12 am PT to March 31, 11:59 pm PT.

Google has kicked off a limited time promotion that offers a $200 statement credit for anyone who picks up a Pixel 2 XL with the Google Store financing option.

For customers who, for some reason, would like to purchase the smaller Pixel 2 despite it carrying the same price as the Pixel 2 XL, they can still avail the free charger.
