How To Add Temperature On Snapchat

The new update is the first since a controversial new version of the app changed everything for Snapchatters.

To add a GIF to your Snap, tap the sticker icon, type in the search field, and a GIPHY section will populate, showing you the GIF stickers related to your search.

Snapchat has rolled out a new update which introduces the ability to use animated gifs within pictures.

Just one month ago, Instagram announced they would be adding GIFs to their stories, so...

The company went on to say that "the new Friends page will adapt to you and get smarter over time, reflecting who you're most likely to be snapping with at that moment".

A unique effect can be created with GIFs when taking a video snap.

As with Instagram, the stickers can also be pinned to a part of the snap to have them move, rotate or scale along with what they're attached to. Moreover, the new updates bring two new tabs: Friends and Discover.

On Tuesday, parent company Snap announced a new update meant to make it easier for users to view content they want to see. Snapchat had proudly announced this change late past year, and was hoping that the UI refresh will help it not only retain its users, but help it attract some new ones over. Android users have to wait to get this update. Once you receive the update, you'll be able to sort things like Stories, Group Chats, and Subscriptions, allowing you to further customise your own experience on the app.

A couple of weeks ago, Snapchat woke up to a flood of netizens criticizing the platform for a design change it had introduced. But, millions of users have rejected the decision by signing online petitions.

Snap CEO Evan Spiegel recently reiterated the company's commitment to stick with the new design in an appearance at a Goldman Sachs investor event, where he told critics that they were proving the company right.
