Distrusting Chinese Woman Climbs Into An X-Ray Machine With Her Bag

Woman climbs into x-ray machine because she didn't want to leave her bag

Images show that the female passenger was wearing heels, kneeling down on the conveyor belt behind her belongings as they went through the check.

.

A WOMAN was so concerned about her belongings that she crawled into an x-ray machine with her handbag.

The freaky incident happened at Dongguan Railway Station in China's southern Guangdong Province.

"You see new unusual things every day", a person wrote on social media after seeing the Dongguan footage. But do you not trust security staff with your stuff enough to enter an X-ray machine to make sure nothing happens to your bag?

When told that all her valuables would have to pass through the machine, she turned around and was seen hopping onto the conveyor belt as well.

And while it is unclear what she was carrying in her handbag it is likely to have been wads of cash traditionally given as a gift for Chinese New Year.

When security staff warned that she'd have to put the bag through security, she circled back to the airport-style luggage scanner.

Security officers were so shocked that they did not even try to stop the woman who quickly collected her other bags and went on to catch her train.

The video shows woman's silhouette inside the machine and her climbing off the machine once the checking was done.

Train stations are grappling with a mad rush this month as hundreds of millions of people head home to celebrate Lunar New Year.

Meanwhile, security staff at Dongguan Railway Station staff have advised passengers not to ride the X-ray machines as radiation can be harmful.
