LG's compact 4K UHD projector to debut at CES 2018

The HU80KA is a pretty impressive projector from LG, as the company had looked to solve some of the issues with other high-end projectors, which included difficulty in installing it. "Along with 4K resolution, it also supports HDR 10 content improving your cinematic experience". The projectors feature two 7W speakers clubbed with connectivity options like USB, Ethernet, HDMI, and wireless support for peripherals such as keyboard and mouse.

CES 2018 kicks off on the 7 of January 2018 and goes on till the 12 of January 2018.

While we don't have specific dimensions, the HU80KA is roughly half the size of other 4K projectors - LG says it wanted to avoid how "heavy, expensive and difficult-to-install within the home" other products are. (There's no mention of Dolby Vision, sadly.) The projector can be positioned on the floor, mounted to the wall, or hung from the ceiling, and LG says it'll work great in any of those setups.

LG engineers and designers downsized the 4K UHD projector without sacrificing image quality. Giving you an incredible viewing experience. However, they are also supposed to provide the best resolution, picture clarity and ability to project large images on to any wall. Also there is the Auto Cord feature, allowing the cable to quickly wind up so that it makes moving the projector even easier. So there are plenty of apps and games available, including all of the big names like Netflix, YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV, and much more. The device also comes loaded with webOS 3.5 smart TV interface, so that users can access popular online streaming services. The company will showcase its 2018 projector lineup at the CES 2018.

LG isn't yet sharing the HU80KA's pricing, but that's par for the course with home theater announcements at CES.
