Jordan Feldstein- the longtime manager of Maroon 5 and the brother of actor Jonah Hill- has died

Minutes later, he got into cardiac arrest and died shortly after. Longtime manager of the band, Jordan Feldstein, died Friday at age 40.

Feldstein was the brother of actor Jonah Hill, Variety reported.

Actor Jonah Hill's 40-year-old brother, Jordan Feldstein, died suddenly on Friday after suffering an apparent heart attack, according to his family.

Law enforcement sources tell us Feldstein's death is being investigated as a "possible accident or suicide" and the LA County Coroners office is conducting tests to find out if the death is investigators related to ingesting some sort of substance or substances.


Under his stewardship Maroon 5 became one of music's most successful and popular acts. He and Levine were childhood friends. Jordan Feldstein was fiercely protective of his artists and their art and always delivered good or bad news personally.

He helped secure Levine a coaching gig on the NBC talent show The Voice, and his management company also worked with the likes of Miguel, Sara Bareilles, Big Boi, Chromeo and Robin Thicke. The family plans to announce a charity where donations can be made in Feldstein's name. Friends of his clients commented on what a thoughtful, hardworking manager he was.

He is a father of two children from his previous marriage to Clint Eastwood's daughter, Francesca Eastwood.

The entertainment industry mourned the late Feldstein on Saturday. In 2015, he told Billboard that Maroon 5 was initially anxious about hiring him as their manager since he was only 21 at that time.
