Dave Chappelle to Release Another Surprise Standup Special

SUNDAY JULY 6 2014 FILE

If you watched the Chappelle Show digital short on SNL previous year and had no idea what everyone was laughing about, now you will finally get it.

If you're too young, too old or you were just missing during the reign of the Chappelle Show, this is the flawless opportunity to finally see what everyone else has been talking about for the large part of the last two decades 15.

In a surprise announcement, Dave Chappelle reveals he will have not one, but two stand-up comedy specials, Equanimity and The Bird Revelation, dropping on Netflix to ring in the New Year. "I didn't see one deplorable face in that group", Chappelle says.

He said "dumb white people" who backed Trump were swindled, because the president had no intention of helping them but instead is further enriching wealthy Americans - like Chappelle himself. On Wednesday, Dec. 20, the Republicans voted in favor of a sweeping tax bill that includes a 40% tax cut for corporations and isn't exactly created to help out the poor.

Chappelle said he failed to comprehend some of the comments Trump voters were making while waiting in line outside the polling booths. The debut of Dave Chappelle: The Bird Revelation makes it two new Chappelle specials bowing that day, the first being the recently announced Dave Chappelle: Equanimiy.

"Do I discriminate against somebody because they're trans? He's fighting for me!" Hopefully more to come in 2018!

From a skit on the first episode of his successful but short-lived "Chappelle's Show" on Comedy Central to a trailer for the newest special on Netflix, the comedian has never shied away from discussing race in his humor. Full disclosure: Poor whites are my least favorites, ' Chappelle joked.
