Hulu Comes To Nintendo Switch Today

Doom Being On Nintendo Switch Is Impressive, But You Probably Shouldn't Play It

Hulu will be available freely from the Nintendo eShop, but access to content will come via subscription.

Like streaming apps. Today Hulu announced that it will be the first video streaming app on Nintendo's Switch console system.

Starting later on Thursday, Hulu subscribers can use the Nintendo Switch to stream both live TV and VOD-only plans. Hulu said in a statement sent to Cord Cutters News. Switch owners won't just have access to their saved TV shows and on-demand programming, but the streaming service will also bring its live TV component to the console.

Many saw that the Nintendo Switch was a flawless game console for video streaming services since it's pretty much like a tablet. Join our new Cord Cutting Tech Support Facebook Group for help. We can only assume and hope that Netflix will be next on the list. Ever since its release in March, the Nintendo Switch has been little more than a game-playing machine.

We compared the Nintendo Switch version of Doom to the PC version on low and ultra settings. Helu's release on the Switch might mean other streaming apps might be released for the Switch.

With Hulu now officially available on the Switch, Nintendo appears to be ready to start offering video streaming services. Likewise, the Switch now has a larger library of games than when it was first launched, which clearly reflects Nintendo's effort of putting games first.

Unfortunately, Hulu never truly made an appearance outside of the States, paving way for other video-streaming applications such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and in the UK, NOW TV to gain a foothold. We used the following test machine to take footage of the PC version and a stock Nintendo Switch for footage of that version of that game.
