Overwatch Getting Blizzard Theme Park Map

BlizzCon 2017: Overwatch to Get New Hero Moira, New BlizzardWorld Map Soon

The biggest of those is a brand new hero that's coming to the game in the near future: Moira.

Moira, the shooter's latest addition, is a support hero that can heal teammates and teleport around the map. And her power is all in her hands: Her left hand heals allies, while the right hand does long-range damage.

This means that, alongside Sombra, Reaper, and Widowmaker, Moira will be the most recent character in Overwatch to work for the sinister terrorist organization. She is the sixth support class hero to join the rest of the large cast, bringing the support class' numbers up to match those of the defense and tank classes.

For Overwatch players who have also played many of Blizzard's other games, the Blizzard World map is an absolute dream come true. She looks utterly badass, and we can't wait to see her skins, too. To play her effectively, she's got to be both doing damage and healing constantly.

Fade - Moira quickly teleports a short distance. Her ultimate ability, Coalescence, lets her unleash a beam that will heal any allies caught in it, or deal damage to any foes caught inside of it.

It's a hybrid map-part assault, part payload-with World of Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft-themed areas. The new hero, called Moira, is the 26th playable character to be added to the game. The latest map will pay homage to numerous great titles under Blizzard's belt by creating an entire theme park dedicated to all things Blizzard.

Huh. Do you think there's a Heroes of the Storm ride at Blizzard World?
