Terry Richardson whines about being axed from Condé Nast

Fashion photographer Terry Richardson 'banned from working for Condé Nast magazines'

"He is an artist who has been known for his sexually explicit work so many of his professional interactions with subjects were sexual and explicit in nature but all of the subjects of his work participated consensually".

After Condé Nast's ban was revealed, fashion companies lined up to distance themselves from Richardson.

Over the years, a number of less-famous models have gone on the record with various media outlets to allege Richardson's sexual misconduct during shoots and elsewhere.

On Tuesday, a spokeswoman for Mr Richardson said: "Terry is disappointed to hear about this email especially because he has previously addressed these old stories". He denied the allegations and described himself as "considerate and respectful" of his photographic subjects. Infamous celebrity photographer Terry Richardson has reportedly been blacklisted by Condé Nast, which houses publications like Vogue, Vanity Fair, and GQ.

"I can confirm to you that we are not collaborating with Terry Richardson for the Diesel campaign, and also that we don't have plans to work with him", a spokesperson told The Daily Beast. It goes on to catalogue the years of claims and allegations against Richardson from models and fashion industry insiders.

The move is believed to be in response to a Sunday Times story which asked why Richardson was "still feted by fashionistas". However, the photographer has been accused of inappropriate behavior on set by models in the past.

In 2001, Canadian model Liskula Cohen said she walked out of a Vogue photoshoot because she wasn't comfortable with his requests.

She who went on to say she had regular disagreements with other fashion editors over Richardson's work.

Richardson has photographed stars including Beyonce, Rihanna and Lady Gaga and directed Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball video. "I have never used an offer of work or a threat of rebuke to coerce someone into something that they did not want to do".
