BJP's yatra a flop: CPI(M)

Referring to the alleged murders of BJP and RSS cadres in Kannur and other parts of Kerala by CPI-M workers, Yogi backfired at CM Pinarayi Vijayan and the Left, terming the murders to be "politically motivated killings".

Sat Sharma, while addressing, criticised the Kerala government for its "indifference" towards the ever increasing number of attacks on activists and their families affiliated with BJP and RSS.

Shah launched a Bharatiya Janata Party "yatra" in Kerala on Tuesday, starting from Kannur district where he blamed Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for the political killings in the state.

Mr. Jayarajan said the mediapersons who accompanied Mr. Shah were also convinced that it was the RSS that was instigating violence whereas the CPI (M) was involved in public service. According to the BJP, Shah has been called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The party had announced that Shah would join the yatra on Thursday. "We are a party which believes there is no place for violence in democracy", added the Chief Minister.

However, social media users were quick to highlight that the image of the "crowd" was not from Shah's yatra but porn-star Sunny Leone's recent trip to Kochi in Kerala.

Shah has launched a 15-day rally in Kerala to target the state's CPI (M) government with the BJP accusing the Left party of being on a "killing spree" against its party workers.

Further fuelling speculation of a major announcement was the fact that Shah had abruptly abandoned the BJP's Jan Suraksha Yatra in Kerala to return to Delhi.

The Janaraksha Yatra on Wednesday was led by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath.

A day earlier, Yogi Adithyanath was burried in angry responses and jibes as he said Kerala must learn from UP, a state that has rock bottom ratings in most development indices, unlike Kerala.

The Yatra led by Kummanam Rajasekharan was planned to expose 'Jihadi horror and Red terror, ' in Kerala.

And Shah won't be mincing words when he delivers his second speech on Thursday.
