Nintendo To Update 'Super Mario Run' On September 29

Super Mario Run update

Super Mario Run, Nintendo's first real foray into mobile games, is receiving a substantial update on September 29 which adds new playable content since the game's launch in December 2016.

After years of refusing to develop games for mobile phones, Nintendo finally made the plunge last year withSuper Mario Run. This new world consists of nine different levels, with new challenges and mini-games that will supposedly surprise experienced players. You don't simply get to choose Princess Daisy from the character list and go play, you have to unlock her by playing a new mode called Remix 10.

These new levels are filled with new enemies, gameplay mechanics and of course include pink, purple, and black coin-collecting challenges. World Star becomes available once players have completed the levels of all six current Worlds in the game.

However, in order to play as the new character and add her in the roster, "Super Mario Run" players will have to rescue the princess first.

You pay that in-game to unlock the entire level set, but can still download the game and play the initial levels for free to see if you like it. The depiction says that this mode will have players finishing areas from ten distinctive existing Super Mario Run levels in progression.

Recently, Nintendo announced that Mario is no longer considered a plumber, noting in an updated profile of the character that he worked as a plumber "a long time ago". The game will be on sale from September 29 to October 12. This also comes with a new animation in the form of headphones being worn by the character to reflect that users are not listening to the usual Super Mario themes.

According to Apple's newly revamped App Store, which now boasts the curation powers of a fully fledged editorial site, Super Mario Run is getting a raft of new content and a price cut on September 29th.
