HTC May Soon Reveal The U11 Plus With A Bzel-Less Screen

Rumor: HTC U11 Plus Is A Bezel-Free Flagship Out In November

The Ocean Master is now believed to be the next HTC flagship smartphone and it could end up being called the HTC U11 Plus. At least for now, the company is working on three smartphones to be launched this year. Well, HTC is working on fixing that with the U11 Plus.

HTC in its official statement on the agreement said, "This agreement also supports HTC's continued branded smartphone strategy, enabling a more streamlined product portfolio, greater operational efficiency and financial flexibility".

After we found out that despite Google's acquisition, HTC would still be releasing a flagship later in the year, it was rumored that the phone would feature a bezel-less design, finally following in the footsteps of other manufacturers.

Some information coming from France hints at the coming of HTC U11 Plus.

Earlier smartphones like HTC 10, 10 Lifestyle or the recent HTC U11 doesn't have those attractive specifications which these days are in trend, here we are talking about the Dual-Camera, Bezel-less display, etc. HTC U11 has a handsome design but somehow is traditional means we have seen this type of construction on other devices as well.

As said earlier, the phone is expected to be announced on November 11, alongside the HTC Ocean Life smartphone, which is rumoured to feature a Snapdragon 630 SoC. The phone would therefore incorporate new design features similar to those seen in the HTC U Ultra and the HTC U11. The base model will be complemented with 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage while the 6GB RAM variant will get a whopping 128GB of internal memory.

A 12-megapixel camera is present on the rear side of the smartphone. For the front, there will be an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The handset is also expected to arrive with IP68 certification for water and dust resistant chassis.

At the rear, HTC U11 Plus will feature the same 12MP primary camera as the U11, now ranked as the No.1 mobile camera by DxOMark Mobile.
