Bose Unveils Headphones Optimized for Google's Assistant

Like the original QC35 the QC35 II also comes in silver. Bose

Bose says in a press release that the QC35 II headphones "have all the performance and features of the original QC35", including the 20 hour battery life, noise cancellation and controls on the right earcup. From there, they will also be able to change the Google Assistant button's functionality so that they can control noise settings from the ear cup if they want. With the help of Google Assistant, Alexa, Cortana, or Siri, you can easily access information in a more natural way.

The QC35 II, as the model is officially called, is being advertised as "optimized for Google Assistant", for a reason: The headphones still need a Bluetooth connection to a compatible Android or iOS phone running the Google Assistant app to do most of the work.

This is an "exclusive experience" and first integration of the Assistant into headphones, so you should expect other headphones makers to join the party before long. The new QC35 II headphones are available beginning today, and their price remains at $349.95. The headphones can also read out text messages, calendar alerts and reminders. These Bisto branded headphones would feature a built-in Google Assistant support. Plus, you can ask Google Assistant a question from the QC35 IIs to find out the score of a football game, whether or not your flight is on time, what's in the news and what movies are playing in theaters at the moment. You will be able to use the Bose Connect App to keep noise cancellation on (high), turn it down (low), or disable it completely (off).

The headphones are priced at $499 on the Bose Australia online store where you can purchase them in either Black or Silver colour options. However the word in the markets was that Google may launch these headphones at the upcoming Google Event where they would announce the Google Pixel 2, Google Home Mini and other hardware devices. Bose innovations have spanned decades and industries, creating and transforming categories in audio and beyond. The company's spirit of invention, passion for excellence, and commitment to extraordinary experiences can be found around the world - everywhere Bose does business.
