Servers to Come Down Today to Bring Leviathan Raid Online

Here's a quick look at what you can expect to see when you take on these hard missions.

What's your Power level, and will you try the Raid out tomorrow?

This morning Bungie brought down the server infrastructure behind Destiny 2 to deploy hotfix v1.2.0.1 for players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Destiny 2 Leviathan Raid has a September 13 release date and a 6pm start time in the UK.

Along with that general spike in difficulty, Nightfalls also now have two new features that they didn't back in Destiny 1: a timer, which ticks down from fifteen minutes and means you fail when it hits zero; and a rotating "Burn". Once you select it, launch, and you're good to go.

Reviews editor Alastair Stevenson has poured more hours into Destiny 2 than he'd like to admit, but won't be awarding a score until the debut raid is open to all.

Speaking about the raid previously Director Luke Smith confirmed that they have no intention of releaseing any teases for Destiny 2's first Raid.

We'll let you know what content becomes available Tuesday. We can't predict what the enemies in Leviathan might be resistant or weak to, so you'll want to take in weapons that can deal Solar, Arc, and Shock damage. Bungie recommends that all players involved close the game and restart. You will soon discover the who, the what, and the where.

One of the most infamous bugs that has been plaguing the game comes in the form of a bug that appeared during the current Nightfall mission. "Together, as a team, you might even discover the how".
