Trump Is A 'White Supremacist' And Unfit For Office — ESPN's Jemele Hill

ESPN then came out and apologized for Hill's tweets not because ESPN believes she's wrong, but because ESPN is owned by Disney and Disney doesn't play that shit.

ESPN past year fired the conservative Schilling for what management deemed insensitive social media posts targeting, not a politician, but transgender people.

"Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself w/ other white supremacists", she wrote in one tweet.

You don't have to agree with Hill to acknowledge that she is not an outlier.

ESPN rising star Pablo Torre retweeted himself from shortly after Trump was elected: "The difference between being a white supremacist and permitting white supremacy might exist".

Hill has been with ESPN since 2006 and has co-hosted the 6 p.m. broadcast of SportsCenter alongside Michael Smith since February.

The controversy following Hill's tweets has even sparked debate among sports analysts, New York Daily News reports.

"We have addressed this with Jemele and she recognizes her actions were inappropriate", ESPN said.

But the decision to suspend Cohn seems harsh given the recent events involving another ESPN on-air personality. In other Twitter rants, she referred to him as a bigot, unqualified and unfit.

It hurts me to say that because I know Jemele. The former 49ers quarterback has been notably unable to latch on with an NFL team, which many attribute to his protests of racial injustice last season when he knelt during pregame renditions of the national anthem.

He pointed out that former Major League Baseball pitcher Curt Schilling was sacked from his analyst position by the network when he retweeted a meme that was deemed offensive to the LGBTQ community.

ESPN critics, on the other hand, said the network's response was too soft, and that a suspension or firing was in order.

After so much growth as a professional news writer, Hill took on another job as a general spots columnist for The Orlando Sentinel. Former reporter Britt McHenry claimed she was laid off because of her conservative views. She might soon get a reminder if she doesn't realize ESPN is a sports network, not a political network.

Nevertheless, conservatives such as Fox Sports radio host Clay Travis have accused ESPN of showing Hill preferential treatment. He has a theory for why the Connecticut-based sports network has turned to the left.

Strong words, but it's hard to argue that Trump, the president literally endorsed by the KKK, is not spreading white supremacy.
