Police arrest motorist who pointed gun at passing auto on I-35E

Police Trying to Identify Man Who Pulled a Gun Out While Driving in Lancaster

Risky and hostile driving in Texas has sunk to a new low with a man pointed a gun at another driver during an incident on a busy motorway. On Saturday, Victoria Best posted three photos and a video of a man pointing a gun at her during her Friday commute.

Best has since conceded that it is possible Sida may have felt she was driving too close to his vehicle, however she said that she only pulled out her camera phone in case he caused her to crash.

She said she didn't realize until she watched the video at work that the driver had pointed a weapon at her as she passed.

"Charges are pending further review of all sides of the story and all evidence", a statement reads.

But when she came to scrutinise the video, she uncovered the sinister image of the driver drawing his gun. She uploaded the video to Facebook claiming that the man, Joseph Sida, was pointing the gun at her on the freeway. 'That was what made me pick up my phone and start recording'. Lancaster police are now asking for public assistance to identify the man in question.

Detective Maeland James with Lancaster police says the incident took place at approximately 3 p.m. Friday in the northbound lanes of I-35E, just south of Interstate 20.
