Qatar Airways on June 7 announced the cancelation of all flights into Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the UAE and Bahrain, just weeks after having been hit by a new United States travel ban on laptops and tablets in passenger cabins. A Pakistani journalist's recent tweet also indicated that all may not be well between Saudi and Pakistan.

On June 5, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain broke off diplomatic and consular relations with Qatar, as well as closed their land, sea and air borders on allegations of supporting.
