Rangers launch Europa League campaign against Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg

British sides set to learn European opponents

Aberdeen face a trip to either Kazakhstan or Bosnia in the second qualifying round of the Europa League.

Clubs can not draw teams from the same country and will also be separated into seeds for the first round, decided by UEFA's co-efficient rankings established at the start of the season.

Pedro Caixinha's side, who were seeded for the draw, will meet the team who finished fourth in Luxembourg's top flight last season and have been drawn to play at Ibrox in the first leg.

Dundalk have suffered most with transfers and injuries; at times this season they have been forced to play without the midfield and central defence that attracted so many new supporters 12 months ago.

Fellow Scottish Premiership side St Johnstone will face FK Trakai of Lithuania in their tie, also at home in the first leg.

Ballymena United will also face Norwegian opposition in Odd.

Everton will start the tournament in the third qualifying round as they bid to earn a play-off and then a place in the group stage. They will host the first leg at Pittodrie on July 13 with the return the following week.

AEL take on Gibraltarian part-timers St Joseph's in the Europa League first round qualifier.
