Miles Teller arrested for allegedly being drunk in public

Actor Miles Teller arrested in Pacific Beach for drunk and disorderly behavior

Miles Teller was arrested early Sunday morning after he was literally falling down drunk and refusing to cooperate with cops. law enforcement sources tell TMZ.

The "Fantastic Four" star, 30, was partying with a group of male friends around 12:30 a.m. when an officer believed he was drunk, San Diego Police Department officer Billy Hernandez told the Daily News. The police officer then put Teller in handcuffs.

Teller was allegedly "showing symptoms of being intoxicated from alcohol"; he was slurring his speech, and he was stumbling from side to side with bloodshot eyes.

Teller was given the option of sobering up at a detox center, but was arrested and transferred to a local jail after he was apparently uncooperative with the detox center's staff. He was released four hours later without bail.

Teller has not commented on the arrest reports, but the news comes six months after he was involved in a scary auto crash while driving in the San Fernando Valley, near Los Angeles in December (16) with his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry.
