Cristiano Ronaldo interested in Manchester United return

-Marca, who are based in Madrid, report that Los Blancos will set the price for Ronaldo at €200m.

Real Madrid issued a statement fully supporting the player, claiming they were "absolutely convinced of his innocence", but Ronaldo is unsatisfied with the club over their attempts to defend him on the matter.

Reports linking Champions League victor Cristiano Ronaldo with a possible move to Bayern Munich if the Portuguese chose to leave Real Madrid were a hoax, the German champions said on Monday.

Ronaldo maintains his innocence in the tax evasion case and insisted that did everything in accordance with Spanish law.

Doubts over Ronaldo's future emerged earlier in the week following accusations that the Madrid forward had concealed earnings and defrauded the Spanish tax authorities out of €14.7 million.

Ronaldo has told Real Madrid he wants to quit the club this summer and leave Spain altogether.

Paris Saint-Germain are said to be prepared to offer big money to take Ronaldo to the French capital, but there are suggestions that he wants to return to Manchester United this summer. "When united, this club is practically indestructible".

The deal appeared to have disappeared but United is now looking to use De Gea as a bargaining chip to get both Ronaldo and Morata to Old Trafford.

The problem for Ronaldo is that very few clubs could afford his wages on top of what would be a massive transfer fee. I'm sure he's innocent.

"So say that basically a fee of £150million would be agree for instance, it means that the cost effectively would be £300million, which makes it a little bit hard".

The four-time Ballon d'Or victor spoke briefly when quizzed on the subject by reporters following a training session with Portugal on Wednesday, saying he had a "clear conscience". Aside from Manchester United and Barcelona, the next best team in the world would probably be Bayern Munich, managed by former Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
