Warriors to decide on White House visit 'when and if necessary'

The Golden State Warriors found themselves at the center of both the political and basketball universe in the days since they captured their second NBA title in three years.

"All the tactics that he used to get elected are the very things that someone like me, who works with youth on a consistent basis, are the things that we try to talk our young folks out of being".

While the Golden State Warriors have yet to release a statement, several players have publicly criticized the president in the past. "Today is all about celebrating our championship", the statement reads.

The group that recruited Durant in the Hamptons that day last summer has the same philosophy about winning more championships.

Coach Steve Kerr told KTVU-TV he was proud that the team came back from the heartbreak of losing last year's championship to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Warriors forward Draymond Green appeared to take some shots at the Cavs. I'll have that mindset, KD's going to have that mindset, I know Dre, Shaun, all the guys that are up for negotiating a new contract. We're going to do everything we can to keep this team together. We'll see what happens. They're going to have to get me down from this cloud. Those people include President Obama and his former high school girlfriend.

CNBC sports personality Josh Brown reported on Twitter early this morning that the entire Golden State Warriors have unanimously agreed not to partake in the traditional White House visit, due to their opposition to President Trump: The two-time champions' distaste for Trump is no secret.

"I was expecting more", coach Steve Kerr told KTVU-TV, joking about the size of the crowd. I feel like there are actions that occur, that continue the dividing of everyone.

"This is a moment we all need to enjoy together and nothing should distract what we were able to accomplish together".

"Maybe (Trump) doesn't (invite us) and we don't go, or we don't say anything and make a big deal of it, and he doesn't make a big deal of it and we go our separate ways", Iguodala said, though the report noted he's also known to be sarcastic. We are a championship-winning team. "We don't want that to taint what we've accomplished this year so we'll handle that accordingly and responsibly and do the right thing for us individually and as a group".
